I’m honored to have been featured in CanvasRebel, where I had the opportunity to share the story behind my Pilates career, the leap I took to open my own studio, and the philosophy that continues to guide my work today.

After more than 25 years in the corporate world, I made the decision to step away and pursue Pilates full-time while creating a schedule that allowed me to prioritize my three boys. What began as a small home studio offering private and duet sessions has grown into a thriving practice centered around intimate, highly personalized Pilates instruction.

In the interview, I also share how my own experience with Pilates began following knee surgery more than two decades ago. That experience ultimately shaped my passion for post-rehabilitation Pilates and my belief that movement and strength training can be accessible to people of all ages, abilities, and body types.

Today, my work goes beyond Pilates sessions. I mentor teacher trainees, collaborate with other health and wellness professionals, and help educate clients on ways to support their mind, body, and overall well-being.

I’m incredibly grateful for the community that has grown around the studio and for the clients and professionals whose referrals have helped build it. More than 80% of my business now comes through referrals, with clients ranging in age from 15 to 82.

Want to hear more about my journey, including how I navigated the challenges of COVID and built a Pilates practice focused on strength, rehabilitation, and connection?
